Overview

Felix lets you archive a service that your business no longer provides, and restore the service later if your business starts to provide the service again. Archiving keeps the service on your account, so you do not have to add the service and its details again. To remove a service permanently instead, see How to Remove a Service. While a service is archived, Felix does not match the service to RFQs.

Prerequisites & Permissions

• The Manage Categories permission in your vendor security group. The permission name still says Categories, although the page is called Services.

How to Archive a Service

IMPORTANT: The Archive window warns: Archiving this service will remove it from all assigned panels, stop RFQ matching for this service, and remove any associated marketplace listings. If applicable, It will also hide questionnaire responses by this service.

1. Select Services from the main menu.
2. Find the service by using Quick search or Show Filters.
3. Hover over More at the end of the service's row.
4. Select Archive from the menu. The Archive [service name] window opens and asks Are you sure you want to archive [service name]?
5. Read the warning in the window. The window also offers a Felix Marketplace link to learn more.
6. Click Archive service. Click Cancel to leave the service as it is.

How to Show and Restore an Archived Service

1. Select Services from the main menu.
2. Click Show Filters.
3. Tick Show Archived and click Apply Filters. Archived services now appear in the list with an Archived badge beside the service name, and Felix shows the number of results.
4. If the archived service is not on the first page, use the page links or the rows-per-page selector (15, 30, 60, 90 or 120) to find the service. The Services page shows 15 services per page by default.
5. Hover over More at the end of the archived service's row.
6. Select Restore Service. Felix shows Restoring while the service is restored, and then refreshes the page.

What happens next?

• After you click Archive service, Felix reloads the Services page and shows the message [service name] Archived.
• After you restore a service, Felix reloads the Services page and shows the message [service name] Restored. The restored service keeps its panels.
• If the service was listed on the Felix Vendor Marketplace before you archived the service, and your other Marketplace services have already reached your plan's limit when you restore the service, Felix still restores the service but does not list the service on the Felix Vendor Marketplace. Felix shows the message [service name] was restored, but it could not be put back on the Felix Marketplace because you have reached your plan's limit of active services. Archive another service to free up a place. The restored service is not listed on the Felix Vendor Marketplace until a place is free. Otherwise, the restored service keeps its Felix Vendor Marketplace listing.
• An archived service no longer appears in your Services list unless Show Archived is ticked.
• While a service is archived, the row is greyed, the service name is plain text instead of a link, the More menu offers Restore Service and Delete, and the Marketplace and Wet/Dry checkboxes for the service are unavailable.
• To change an archived service, restore the service first.

Troubleshooting

Issue	What to do
I can't find a service that I archived.	Click Show Filters, tick Show Archived and click Apply Filters. The Archived badge marks archived services.
A service shows as archived, but I did not archive the service.	Felix archives services that were listed on the Felix Vendor Marketplace when your plan changes and your Marketplace services are over the new plan's limit. Restore the service with Restore Service to offer the service again.
I can't see Archive in the More menu.	The service is already archived. The More menu offers Restore Service instead.
Felix shows There was an error archiving your service.	The service has not been archived. Try Archive again. If the error continues, contact the Support team.
Felix shows There was an error restoring your service.	The service has not been restored. Try Restore Service again. If the error continues, contact the Support team.
Felix shows [service name] was restored, but it could not be put back on the Felix Marketplace because you have reached your plan's limit of active services. Archive another service to free up a place.	The service is restored but is not listed on the Felix Vendor Marketplace, because the service was listed there before you archived the service and your other Marketplace services have already reached your plan's limit. Archive another service to free up a place, then tick the checkbox in the Marketplace column for the restored service. See How to List a Service on the Felix Vendor Marketplace.
Felix shows This service is archived. Restore it before making changes.	Restore the service with Restore Service, then make the change.
I archived a service by mistake.	Show archived services, then select Restore Service from the More menu for the service.
